I Tube! Me Tube! You Tube...Traffic

The world of the internet marketer is ever changing. There appears to be new things on the horizon on a minute to minute basis. What is amazing right now are old schemes 5 minutes from now. But the one consistent virtue in marketing is you need traffic to your site to move whatever product you're trying to sell!

Everyone knows about SEO, Search Engines, Emails, and other forms of traffic generating tactics, but like most things those tactics do require some learning and maybe even reading. Let's be honest most of us don't read as much as we should; we like to watch!! We're voyueristic people by nature and it's alot easier to duplicate a process after we've seen it done, then it is to read and then duplicate.

http://presalevideos.com/watch/youtubetraffic/9165, has combined our obsession with watching with the marketers obsession for traffic! This is a great tool to help marketers bring the knid of traffic they'll need to be successful in your whatever they do........

Snowboarder Torah Bright is poised to soar at Winter X Games

By Pete Thomas, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer January 24, 2008
ASPEN, Colo. -- Torah Bright is talented. She's beautiful and personable and the essence of Roxy, the women's-specific snowboarding brand that she's used for seven years. So won't Roxy and all of Bright's supporters, including those in her hometown Cooma, Australia, be thrilled to see her beaming atop the podium after her halfpipe victory in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics?

OK, so that may be peering too far into the future.

But it's not unrealistic to envision Bright adorned in Olympic gold. Not after the breakout year the Soarin' Mormon recently enjoyed.

She kicked off 2007 by winning her first X Games gold medal, officially emerging from the shadow of American rivals Gretchen Bleiler, Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark. Bright, 21, won the Ticket to Ride World Tour championship, the World Superpipe Championships, the New Zealand Open, Nippon Open and Burton Global Open Series.

Now she's back in Aspen for Winter X Games 12, which runs today through Sunday at Aspen's Buttermilk Mountain.

And on Friday night, before thousands of fans expected to cheer local hero Bleiler, Bright will be slightly favored to defend her superpipe title.

"Torah has become, hands-down, one of the most technically gifted riders out there," says Bleiler, 26, who was second to Teter at the 2006 Winter Olympics and second to Bright at last year's X Games.

"And it's just awesome to see because I've seen her work so hard for so many years, and last year everything just fell into place and she was just kind of untouchable."

Adds longtime X Games commentator Sal Masekela: "Torah's at that Shaun-type level," referring to 2006 Olympic gold-medalist Shaun White. "What we saw her do last year was incredible and I think we'll see more of that this year."

Drawing a comparison to White? Bright would blush if she heard that.

Last woman standing

Like all top snowboarders, Bright pays a dear price for stardom. She travels almost year-round and has not been home for Christmas since she was 14.

She has not attended a full year of school since the seventh grade and obtained her high-school diploma via correspondence courses. Last year, she spent only five weeks with family. Five years ago she relocated to Salt Lake City, but she has been there only four days since July.

And because she's a practicing Mormon, she does not really fit into the wild snowboarding lifestyle. Or does she?

"Some people say, 'You're a Mormon and you snowboard. How does that work?' " Bright says with a laugh.

"But I'm the sober driver at the end of the night, and everybody loves a sober driver. I go out and dance all night with them, and I'm usually the last one standing on the dance floor. Everybody has a good time."

Amplitude matters

Bright finished fifth at the 2006 Turin Olympics, but at least one commentator, Todd Richards, said she should have received higher scores for routines that involve grabs and switch-stance takeoffs and landings, but are not as showy as routines unveiled by American riders.

Says Bleiler: "You look at her run and say it's a nice clean run, but then you look closely and realize they're all switch tricks -- including switch backside spins, which not many guys are even doing, so it's really revolutionary."

New thrills, and spills?

Winter X Games 12 will unveil new disciplines: snowmobile speed and style (tonight) and skiing big air and snowboard big air (Friday and Saturday, respectively).

The former is a crazy blend of snowmobile racing and freestyle riding.

Eight riders will be divided into four groups of two. They will compete head-to-head, but on alternate loops. One is a SnoCross racing track, and the other features steep ramps for aerial theatrics. After one lap, they swap loops and final scores will be based on difficulty of tricks performed and the time it takes to complete the full track.

Star driver Chris Burandt likens it to rally-car racing on snowmobiles, adding that "the element of the unknown" will make it compelling for competitors and fans.

ESPN, which every year adds more machinery to the X Games, is hoping it will boost TV ratings.

One-hit wonders

The Big Air lineup for skiing: Charles Gagnier, John Olsson, TJ Schiller and Jacob Wester. For snowboarding, it's Travis Rice, Andreas Wiig, Kevin Pearce and Torstein Horgmo.

"These guys are all one-hit specialists," says Chris Stiepock, X Games general manager, "guys who have the ability to put all their focus and energies into one jump that is spectacular."

Making introductions

Winter X Games brings to the forefront big action sports names such as White, Palmer, Bleiler, Teter, Rahlves, Wescott, Jacobellis, Hall, Dumont and many others.

But in their shadow, hoping to emerge, are the lesser names -- the underdogs, who dream of greatness.

One such athlete is Lonnie Kauk, who will compete in Saturday's snowboard slopestyle final.

Kauk is a direct descendant of Chief Tenaya, leader of the Ahwahneechee tribe when Yosemite Valley was discovered in 1850, and he was raised by maternal grandparents who follow Native American traditions. But it's clear where Kauk gets his extreme genes. His father, Ron Kauk, was a pioneering Yosemite rock climber.

Coming of age

Ellery Hollingsworth, at 16 years 4 months, is the youngest X Games competitor this year. She lives in Breckenridge, Colo., and was invited to the X Games based on her fourth-place finish at the season-opening Grand Prix halfpipe event in December.

Mosaic Management, the agency that handles Hollingsworth's affairs, is pointing her toward the 2010 Olympics.

Don't Blame Rappers For Rapping The Rap

Personally, I don't think Don Imus should've been fired! This is America and people can make ludicrous comments about the President, so no one is off-limits, even a women's college basketball team! Imus' employers had every right to get rid of him if they were preventing an economic backlash because business is business and that's all America is really about!

But since the Imus dismissal the public is once again blaming Rap Music as the cause of societies ills. Well, society was ill long before Rap Music hit the scene and nothing has changed! Imus' defense of "they say it in Rap Music so I can say it to" is almost as stupid as his comments!

Rap Music didn't start out this way, it was fun, creative and educational. But that was old school Rap. Today's Rappers aren't as creative and once a performer has success with a certain style, well, everybody else tries to copy that style so they can have the same success! Unfortunately, today's Rap Music is mostly about black people denigrating other black people, which is along way from the roots of Rap.

Ultimately we have to ask ourselves if Imus got canned because of what he said or because he was a white man saying it?

How To Choose A Product To Sell Online

Any internet marketer will tell you that the first step towards attaining online wealth is to find a hungry market, or a niche, if you will. A hungry market is usually profitable, given the great demand for certain products, as well as the absence of competing marketers servicing the same segment.

Once you have selected a profitable market, or a niche, it’s time to think about what product you could offer. Products are the items you could sell. They are the ones that will ultimately deliver some profits for you. Business is all about selling something. You have to offer something to earn money.

Here are some popular items you could sell online:

* Tangible goods. You could sell physical items. However, you have to bear in mind that these goods may require storage space (which can become a problem if you’re planning to sell high quantities of different products) and shipping charges.

* Non-traditional information products. Because of the internet, a lot of possible avenues for information have also popped up. Products like video lectures, audio lessons, and podcasts have become popular items that have proven to be hot sellers. Non-traditional information products are not limited to these choices. You could always come up with something new.

* Traditional information products. These include eBooks, special reports and even articles. They are excellent choices because all you really need is information and the writing skills to put them down in writing. The best way to convey information is through the written word. Also, traditional information products are capable of being delivered digitally. You won’t have to worry about shipping costs and storage space. Everything would be stored in your hard drive.

You’re not limited to products. You could also sell your services online. Here are some examples of the kinds of services you could offer to prospective clients:

_ Consultancy
_ Web design
_ Search engine optimization (SEO) advise
_ Graphic design
_ Data encoding
_ Ghostwriting
_ Copywriting
_ Customer service handling

Of course, what you offer will depend on your skill level, but with the vastness of the internet and the fact that new potential clients enter the market everyday, your chance of finding some service to offer is enhanced!

Five Ways To Automate Content

Content is king on the internet. The internet is the information superhighway. The World Wide Web is fueled by information. Users search for it. Webmasters provide it. And if you could give the information that people want, then you’re in business. Whether your online business is based on Pay Per Click (PPC) programs or the sale of digital products, quality content will drive the masses to your sites.

But preparing unique, premium content is often not enough. You need to regularly update your content so that the search engine spiders regularly crawl your pages and extract the relevant query. This is one of the keys to good search engine placement.

Writing good content is tough enough, but writing the same on a regular basis could be difficult. And writing for several websites could be agony. With all the automation going on there must be another way to write your own content and update your website and save yourself some time.

Well, here are some alternatives that could keep your content flowing, websites updated and keep you from going crazy in the process.......

A) Feedback manager. If you’re using articles as content, then you might want to include a feedback system for the same. This would enable your readers to leave their comments below your articles. By having your readers leave comments you're adding to the content of your site. Plus, your readers will feel like they're apart of the site, which may entice them to return.

B) Create your own forum. Let's face it people love giving their opinions. If your website has a forum, you’d be able to invite your visitors to sign up. They’ll create threads about subjects they are interested in. And all their posts and threads will be good fresh and free content for your site, without you typing a single word!

C) Have a contest. Everyone likes the idea of winning a prize. Have your visitors enter a writing contest, with the winning article being published on your site. Of course the contestants would know ahead of time that the winning entries will be published. Depending on the quality of the content and the quantity of the entries, this could be a regular strategy.

D) RSS. RSS means Real Simple Syndication. RSS allows users to display specific files every time they are uploaded on a source website. Basically, if you're connected to a site that produces updated sportsnews, then everytime that site is updated you can show the same sportsnews on your site using an RSS aggregator. All you need is to download some programs that would enable you to do this. You need to get an RSS-to-HTML reader, so that the RSS feeds you will display on your site can be readable for the search engine spiders. Afterwards, all you have to do is to subscribe to an appropriate RSS feed, and every time the source website would post new content, you’ll be able to display the same on your own website.

E) Mini-article directory. Take a look at www.ezinearticles.com or www.goarticles.com . By allowing people to submit free articles these websites ensure themselves a large supply of great content? You don't have to be as big as the sites mentioned, but something on a smaller scale would guarantee you a good flow of new content!

How To Make Resale Rights Products More Salable

Resale rights is a very lucrative online business. But, not everyone can succeed with this business because of the complex nature of the trade.

To ensure maximum profit, you must learn how to package your resale rights products correctly. And this involves some knowledge on the different factors that make or break resale rights marketing. So let’s take a look at their nature and reasons, and how to avoid the problems they bring, and how to use them to come up with a resale rights package that your prospects would find very difficult to resist.

A) Price. Though you are justified to sell your resale rights products for a price higher than the value of the basic package, if you sell it for too much, you’d have problems making some sales. As a rule, multiply the value of your basic product by three. Let this be the selling price for your resale rights product. Though, you must remember, the lower the price, the more sellable your offer would be.

B) Exclusivity. People will be more interested to buy products with resale rights if their sale is limited to certain number of people. There are many reasons for this. Primary of these is the fact that resale rights are appealing because they would provide for the purchasers an additional income stream. But if the product with resale rights is sold to an unlimited number of people, the market would just be saturated and there will be little room to make a profit. The same is true for products with resale rights that may be sold to a limited number of people when such a number is in the hundreds if not the thousands. The best approach is to sell your resale rights products to a maximum of 50 people, though a lower number would always prove better.

C) Market life. Selling your resale rights product when it is at the end of its market life would be tough. People will find little value for it, since they would have the impression that they’ll have a hard time selling the same. To calm their fears, suggest a unique selling proposition they could use. For example, you could recommend the inclusion of valuable bonuses to increase the appeal of the product, in case they’d decide to buy its resale rights from you. Or you could recommend the inclusion of additional products to come up with a turnkey package that would likewise increase the offer’s salability.

D) Restrictions. Resale rights can come with restrictions. But too many of them would compromise the value of the product. You may restrict certain usages for your products for example, and this would alienate some people who would otherwise be interested in the products. The rule here is to enforce only the restrictions that would preserve the worth of your resale rights product for the benefit of your purchasers. These should be restrictions that are enforceable to all of them so that their interests would be protected from possible abuses by some of the purchasers.

By considering these factors that affect the perceived value of your resale rights product, you’d be able to develop an approach that would make your offer more attractive to potential purchasers.
